“You’re here for a reason. If you think you’re not, I would just say that perhaps you forgot . . .a piece of the world that is precious and dear would surely be missing if you weren’t here.”
This book by Nancy Tillman is one of my absolute favorites. The illustrations are beautiful and fun and the message is simply unmatched. Every time I read this to my children I am able to remind them how important and loved they are while also illustrating how important it is to be kind. What more could I ask for in a book??
